Hi, Salām, i pray this is in right section

My issue now is I can upload a Category Picture no problem, but I need to resize the picture because it is big and looks clumsy.

My question is about Graphical Design; Can you tell me the terminology around to resize the picture? Is it feasible?

The printscreen you posted seems to show a forum image. (I'm not even sure that works for a category, I think there is/was an extension though)

Anyway, AFAIR you'll have to resize it before uploading.

Graphics programs

You'll need a graphics program if you want to create or edit images for use with phpBB.
Tools needed to set up and customise phpBB
GIMP (cross platform including Windows) - “a versatile graphics manipulation package”.
Paint.NET (Windows) “a free image and photo editing software for computers that run Windows”.

Added: Yep, memory didn't fail me.
There is a Category Image extension but it's for phpBB 3.1.10 and 3.2.0 it's probably not functional with phpBB 3.3
