Thanks P_I.
I hadn't updated the config.php file with the parameters relating to where the database is now located. BTW, I didn't need BigDump.php (which failed as the DB had not been downloaded with the correct settings).
So, I have the PBB files under https://www.ckdev.info/bcc/bccforum/bccpbb. However, when I execute this I just get a blank screen. Adding index.php to the end doesn't help. bcc is the directory under public_html where the Joomla website is located.
I'm really confused by the directory structure in the ZIP file of the forum files. Under the top level (what I'd call the Root directory in cPanel terminology) I see public_html as I'd expect to see. However, in that directory, there's no config.php or index.php file. I looks more like a repository for user-uploaded content. There is a directory called BCC-bb3.bellanca-championclub.com which seems to contain more what I would expect to see (including the 2 previously mentioned files). FYI, the URL named directory is the URL the old site used to access the forum. When I extracted the PBB files to its new home, I changed this folder name to the bccpbb name as noted above. The bccforum is a sub-directory holding, aside from the bccpbb folder, standard looking Apache/PHP folders - htpasswords, Httpreques, etc.
I just don't understand this side of websites/forums enough to make any better intelligent decisions than where I am now. We're happy to pay to have this done, we just need it done.
