cabot is right, the fact that the image includes several colors poses no problem.
i'd even go further and say that the svg is an added advantage if you imagine a black background for the dark theme and a white background for the light theme (in addition to the color change).
this avoids the need to create multiple raster images, not to mention maintenance (changes or creation of menu colors, for example).
I've already tested this kind of thing on prosilver french edition and it worked perfectly.
