When you want to load the preview in a WYSIWG editor, you may need extra JS functionallity. It may also work out of the box. But I think creating a preview of links and videos should not be done with a button, but after entering the link, completed with an Enter. Then the plugin is of little use to you.You only need to post a link for supported site when using that extension. Personally I would like to see option in user control panel to enable/disable it.Video should be optional. I'm not sure if you can that plugin with WYSIWYG. GDPR conform means that you first have to confirm to load videos. This can also be implemented with a cookie banner, but as an option it would be easier to handle in this form.
And right, if such video BBCode is supported by default, not by extension, it should be possible to show it as simple link.
