Warmweer, I made sure that both, the guest’s group, and the user anonymous, permissions are identical. I got the same results.

For testing, I gave them both “Full Access,” and still the same results.

To be honest, I didn't think it through properly.

I now think a Guest could perhaps edit or delete his/her own post IF, and only WHEN it's in the same session as that could (perhaps) allow identifying that Guest as the poster.
This is speculation of course: I'll have to test this (out of curiosity).

Regardless, I also agree with Paul that Guests should not have delete nor edit permissions.
